BRAND: Uber X Venmo (Joint Partnership)

THE OBJECTIVE: Uber and Venmo wanted to promote the integration of a new payment feature within Uber. With Venmo, riders could now split the cost of their trip with friends.

Deliverables: 

CONTENT CREATION: With magic integration 

PRODUCTION: Video production and editing. 

SOCIAL EXPOSURE: 1 Instagram Video where Julius performed a magic trick in the back of an Uber car alongside makeup artists and influencer – Daniel Ruiz Smith. The trick involving linking the broken pieces of a playing card, (suggesting that just like Venmo and Uber, some things work better together). Julius ends the video by noting that just as he split the card, you too can now split the cost of an Uber ride with Venmo.

THE OBJECTIVE: To increase awareness of Jamaica and help promote tourism to the country. “Visit Jamaica’ wanted to showcase the culture, diversity, adventure and of their country and to target a wide audience who were seeking new travel experiences and were keen to discover exciting destinations.

SOCIAL EXPOSURE: 2 Instagram Videos, 1 YouTube Video, 1 Facebook Video. Julius created a series of videos performing guerrilla-style street magic which amazed local Jamaicans. Throughout the video series, Julius highlighted the beauty and scenery of key travel locations in Jamaica while also connecting with the friendly and fun-loving local community.

THE OBJECTIVE: To increase awareness of the newly released Galaxy S9 handset in the 18-24 market worldwide. Samsung wanted to showcase their phone’s super slow-mo video-capture feature in an exciting, engaging and memorable way.

SOCIAL EXPOSURE: 1 Instagram Video, 1 Facebook Video. Julius came up with a creative video concept – centered on his ability to amaze people with magic, using unnoticeable sleight of hand techniques. Each trick was captured on video using the Samsung Galaxy S9. After successfully stunning his audience, the interaction was slowed down using the S9’s slow-mo feature to reveal what really happened.

THE OBJECTIVE: To increase awareness and bolster tourism to Cali, Colombia. Marca Pais Colombia wanted to promote the rich culture, Traditions and lifestyle of their country through the use of dance and magic. The goal was to target a wide market of potential vacationers who were seeking new travel experiences and were keen to discover exciting destinations.

SOCIAL EXPOSURE: 1 Instagram Photo – 2 Instagram/ Facebook Stories. Julius created captivating content which showcased him learning the iconic Cali tradition of salsa dancing. Throughout the video, he integrated his signature street magic with narration that educated viewers on the art and history of salsa dancing in Colombia.
